How to Enroll

Prospective Family Orientation

Parents interested in enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year will need to attend an orientation that will be offered the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 in the auditorium. Applications will be given at the orientation.

New Students

In December of each calendar year applications will be accepted for the up coming school year. Applications will be accepted until March 31st. Thereafter, a lottery will be held to fill vacant seats for the next school year. After seats are filled, the drawing will continue to determine the order of a waiting list. Applications received after this period will be considered if space is available or added to the waiting list if classes are full. Current year waiting lists dissolve when the next enrollment period begins.

Current Students

Currently enrolled students and their siblings will have the opportunity to enroll for next year during January. Enrollment forms will be sent home with students.

Open Enrollment

Admissions are open to all students of Gaston and surrounding counties in North Carolina and there is no tuition. Piedmont Community Charter School CFA is non-sectarian and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, disability, or national origin. We make every effort to recruit students and teachers from all segments of our community, so that our school will reasonably reflect the ethnic diversity of the population of Gaston County.
